Any way to turn on this custom property quickly to all my takeoff and items? Or am I stuck with one-by-one?

This is interesting, I didn't even know you could hide custom properties lol.
Subscribed.
I have seen the Hide until in use but I haven't messed with it because i feel i would spend hours finding it lol

Hi Kyle, I tried to make a script to do this and currently its not available. I have submitted your request to the dev team for the feature, feel free to describe any important details.
Stephen, appreciate you submitting the request.
But stepping back, this actually highlights a bigger problem in the current tool and I hate how it functions now with this "hide" shennagins.
The “hide/unhide custom properties” feature isn’t really the solution. The core issue is that takeoffs live in separate cloned projects instead of under a single project structure. Because of that, teams end locked down to the WBS and properties that are locked in at the enterprise and can't make custom WBS for their project across SD → DD → CD takeoff projects.
What we really need is:
Enterprise
→ controls templates, access, reports, control enterprise WBS.
Project
→ can add custom WBS that flow down to all takeoff projects
Takeoff Projects
→ SD / DD / CD variations that inherit those settings
One project. Many milestones. Many drawing sets.
Right now zzTakeoff treats each takeoff as a standalone environment, which breaks continuity.....We dont want to re-create the desktop world in the web, please NO!
I actually posted a quick visual of this idea recently, below. This is the #1 structural improvement that I have been asking for 366 days that would unlock a lot more value from the platform.
Posted this on Linkten last week that got 3,446 views. LINK

@Kyle thank you for articulating this issue. I agree with you 100% but was struggling to articulate it. Hope to see this update soon!
Assuming that the option "Auto-populate with last entered value" was just added? If so, this is helpful! Thanks.
Agree w/ Kyle on the "treats each takeoff as a standalone environment". We need to keep continuity between versions.
Also still would love a more elegant way to handle "repeating floors" per drawing.
Thanks zz, great work!

@zzTakeoff Team,
This Enterprise > Master Project > Takeoff Projects is critical and fundamentally flawed in zzTO today...to the point that we can't scale this and our pilot will fail. So got a idea on my bike ride this morning....
One idea is to structure it so the "Master Project" becomes a workspace and then you can make sub-takeoff projects under them. Feels like this could work with your current architecture and love to talk more about this if possible. Ideally when a new users makes a "Master Project" it would clone all the enterprise settings and sort fields, then people can add project specific anything from there that flows down to all the sub- takeoff projects.
Food for thought.
