We just released a small update to now include the custom property groups in the gear. When you click a group, it should toggle the custom properties in that group on and off. 🙂

Hey Kyle, I just tested on my end & I was able to group in the lists. I think the only group by options that are different between templates & list templates are that there is no group by "Folder" ...
