Had a meeting with their team just now. They made that in 4 weeks with 2 people. Un-believable the tech that is coming our way!

Pretty darn cool. Although it’s a long road ahead. I expect they probably coded that custom to deal with exactly that drawing set so they could make this video and recreating that with literally any other set of drawings would need custom debugging at every step.

This looks great, and I wish them the best, but as mentioned above, their onboarding process seems to clearly be about confirming all your plans to a model, and then based on the assumption that your future plans will be in the same format.

If there is anything to takeaway from working with zztakeoff, its that customers bring in some different, weird, and unexpected plans.

It would be great if they told me the price or offered a free demo so I could test it out, oh wait, thats what we do!

I like the "AI big brother watching" feature he demonstrated where it tries to mimic what the estimator is doing. That is something I would love to see here in zz one day.

I'm sure you'd have to correct and adjust a bunch of the auto generated takeoff from that, but that is the type of stuff that could save a ton of time after lots of repetition and calibration (and eventually kill jobs too 😅).

zz keep up the great foundational work. This all would be great but not without the core you are building. These types of options will be icing on the cake!
