Most government contractors have to bid according to bid forms with hundreds of line items. We generally organize the bids with folders to match the line items, with names and bid numbers. It would be nice to be able to import a list of folders for a project rather than creating new folders and naming them manually.
If you're doing the same line items over and over, you can create a template with empty folders and just copy/paste all of the folders in at the beginning.
No unfortunately, All bid forms are different from city to city and job to job....Hi Jake!
Are you meaning to import a folder with multiple folders with names of those line items?
zzTO, can import folders with folders
The naming of folders can be done with a bash script and list before importing (Not in zzTO)

Or what would be a nice feature for zzTO, would be a highlight a list (Similar to the schedule extract), then create folders with those name. (Or even a splash menu, that lets you put in a list of folder names, and zzTO to create those folders, instead of add new page over and over again)
I'm still voting for tags/labels for project specific on-the-fly organization to filter down either plan sheets, QTO's, or MLESO resources/assemblies
Hi Chaz, Let's look into this in our Webinar Thursday, I would love to see and hear how you, Kyle and some of our more savvy users make this happen now and maybe what ZZ can do moving forward. COO James and Derek will be there and they should be able to shine some light on all of this. Thanks for your input in our community, it really does make us better and better every day!
@Todd - Sweet! So, I have a reference I've thrown some quick examples of what I've had in the past and what I'm looking for now. The following are from Plangrid, but I think they showed the best use by associating plans/documents with tags. I've been working with a cloud-based QTO competitor over the last year and they're certainly trying and they have the right idea, but I feel they're still missing the big picture. Give the estimator or QTO engineer the ability to create infinite tags that can associate with a sheet/QTO/Assembly/MLESO resource/snippet/document (rfi/spec/etc) that is either common/global to the company or localized/project specific, could also include CSI/Omni/etc
