I posted this in the wrong location, anyhow, looking to have an option when duplicating a page to include the takeoff or not. Maybe a prompt comes up that will ask, would you like to copy takeoff from page as well.
Hi, you can press Ctrl - A then Ctrl - C on the source page to select all and copy, then make your page, then press Ctrl - Shift - V to paste with measurements on the target page.
Ok, thats fine, but are you able to add an item to duplicate with takeoff? Save a step? If I'm dealing with a project that has 10 floors the same and they only give me 1 page, have option to duplicate with takeoff will save that much time or even allow to duplicate page a number of times.
Are these floors literally all the same takeoffs? It seems you could use a multiplier for the number of floors if so.
I agree a Duplicate with Takeoffs would be nice.
The workaround I suggested above takes 8 seconds, AND it gets you an additional feature, the ability to change the folder the takeoffs go into per floor, which you would NOT get from a duplicate page.

Yes, they would be the same takeoff per floor, I agree on the workaround, that will work for now. I did also request the page multiplier. Trying to see what the quicker option would be to implement.
The hard part is almost everyone wants the takeoffs to be in a different folder, and that means duplicate page would need to ask this, or create a new folder. What were you thinking?
A page multiplier would be a setting on the project that is set to inherit and then could be read on takeoffs and items in their formulas to multiply a value times a number of floors. That is custom property work you can setup now, but that only works if they are literally the same, not just close and you edit them slightly.
Well if you report by page, you can separate your takeoffs by floor that way. I requested another option to be able to sort your report by page folder, I organize my plan sets into different folders so I know where to find what I need faster. We tried the custom property, It didnt work and I would not want the multipliter applied at the takeoff level as I would use that same takeoff item in other parts that necessarily would not need a multipler. Now creating the multiplier at the project level, I am not sure on that, I think if it can be added as a property item in the page setting.
