Seeing there can be an option to add a sub-takeoff for for a point along a linear takeoff, example, if I click on a point and right click a sub-menu can pop-up and I can add a sub-takeoff item such as a junction box, or maybe a feed for a linear light fixture.

What this does is adds a roll of wrap for the DI Pipe per 484' of pipe taken off.
How can that get assigned to a single point along that length? I'm thinking of it as a count takeoff item that I can assign to a point along the linear length.
Oh, maybe I misunderstood, I was thinking along the lines that you wanted to add a junction box per each say 200' or something along those lines.
That could be the case, but I want to be able to select the specific point along the linear where that occurs, in addition, the point would change to like a square or it would tag something like it does when you do a hyperlink.
Hi, can you try this? Takeoff a linear with two points. Stop the takeoff. Double click on the line where you want the split. Right click that new point, and click Start, click the point, then click where you want the new line to end.
That’s not what I’m getting at, I’d like to have a point along a linear to be counted separately as a different takeoff item, I know can count points along a linear but I’d like to have options with that point count such add vertical lengths or even have that point be a count for a different takeoff item such a junction box or even a track head.
