New Update: Copy / Paste, Speed Improvements, Move, Rotate, Flip, Extract Schedule Popup, Grayscale, etc.

We just released another update 🚀

Copy / Paste

Easy to duplicate selected items with CTRL + C and CTRL + V (or right click menu copy/paste). After you paste you'll get a basic toolbar with common options for move, rotate, and flip to re-position the items. You can find these in the right click menu, also. They are shown after paste for quick positioning.

Move, Rotate Left, Rotate Right, Flip Horizontal Flip Vertical, and Hide

After selecting items on the page, the right click menu has more options. Move has ability to click an origin point, and drag the selected items to the desired location, or you can re-align by clicking 2 points. In the future we may combine some of these into sub-toolbars, but we are giving you access to what we have as a start point.

Right click directly on the page for paste, show all, hide all.

Show as Grayscale

Sometimes you have plans with too many distracting colors. Just double click the page in the left sidebar, and check the "Show as grayscale" option.

Extract Schedule Popup

Now, you can verify the schedule when you extract the schedule with AI. If the takeoff types or names are not extracted correctly, you have the opportunity to modify them here.

Move Handle

Easy to click & drag for selected items on the page. This also makes it possible to move takeoff items on mobile or iPad / tablets.

Smart Select Menu Updated

We moved the more commonly used tools to the top.

Keyboard Shortcuts Reference

We also added hotkeys for 1 - New Area, 2 - New Linear, 3 - New Segment, 4 - New Count. We will be expanding this list in the future, as well as allowing user customizability.

URL Structure Changes

The URL structure is much simpler now. No more "Workspace ID" visible in the URL. Now when you visit the "Community" tab and copy/paste URLs they will be much cleaner without Workspace ID, Project ID, and Page ID. Easier to share & reference posts, etc. Also, this is partially in preparation to allow adding permissions at the project level (upcoming feature to share a single project with specific users instead of the whole workspace).

More Speed Improvements

For pages with many items, this release should load faster, zoom & pan faster, etc.
