Surface pro stylus

Basic Drag and Drop:

Select: Place the pen tip on the item you want to move.

Wait: Hold the tip in place for a brief moment until a small circle appears around the pointer.

Move: Without lifting the pen, slide the item across the screen to its new location.

Release: Lift the pen off the screen to "drop" the item. 

Alternative Methods

Using the Side Button: Some users find it easier to press and hold the side button (located on the flat edge of the pen) while moving the item.

Hi, I've tried this but it's not working at all.

You may need to enable the pen in the operation system. Do you get the small circle that appears when you hold the tip in place on the screen?

Hi I get the circle , but unable to drag and drop , also when using the pen for takeoffs as it starts a takeoff it starts fine , but when trying to select second point it snaps all over the place so I’m having just to use my finger rather than a pen.

I’ve bought both the iPad and the surface pro as I’m really relying on the on site takeoffs and measures , iPad pen works fine for takeoff but unable to drag , surface doesn’t work for neither.

I will test dragging on iPad and get back to you, I lent out my apple pencil and need to get it back! I'm not sure about surface, are there web applications that work with it now with it's stylus?
