Hi team,
does anyone have a solution for me on this one?
In PS i used to use the !Sum function in the folder to total all the take off values (Sub item>Parent>Folder(Totals)>[..]Relevant Labour (currently 00 as below) volume, m2 and tonnages etc then then use the parent lookup [..] for my labour/ equipment values/ folder totals.
In ZZ i can't add any properties to the folder so the workflow doesn't work anymore.
I know the sibling formula [./ but every folder is different on every project, to formulate that for every level on every job isn't viable. (and ZZ doesn't have the property lookup like PS does, so have to type it all out).
I'm open to solutions, I've been trying for 3 projects now. how do you guys handle grand totals?
P.S repeating within each takeoff item isn't a solution.
Appreciate any assitance

Hi, we can't show a sum in the Takeoff sidebar like you have in the image above, however, you can do it on Reports if you use a Formula for the parent property of sum('Prop').
Hi Thomas,
Can you email me at todd@zztakeoff.com
