Set "Old Version For Page" to No Value

Under Review

Hi,

In light of the recent update on the Auto-Detect pages, I was wondering if there is a way that "Old Version For Page" can automatically be set to no value or turned off for the portion where it is asked? We hope to avoid the merging of different drawing versions to a single page as we overlay them on top of each other to assess changes.

Thanks for the feedback John. We will work on some settings for this. We've had various users asking for similar, so this definitely needs addressed.

I should have clarified, you can still see old versions of a page by clicking on this version bubble. It will expand to show old versions of the page as "children" of the current page.

Then you can drag & drop that old version on top of the page image to overlay it. Eventually we will have a single click on the older version to overlay it above the new version. Once we add a 1 click overlay old version over new version would you still need this feature to avoid merging?

Hi Heber, thank you for the acknowledgment of this concern. Our main concern really is the overlaying of an old drawing version against a new one, and vice versa, but having the option to not merge them and drawing separately would be a great feature as well as our team thinks of it being more convenient having different drawing pages from different sets being separate. Depending on the rollout of the overlay feature update mentioned, we may be able to work around it and see if it will be convenient and much easier to use than our current organization system.

Again, thank you for the acknowledgment of this query, and we look forward to your future updates regarding this.
