Steven Shaw Perimeter Length for Linear with Width
I measure footings which i require a perimeter length takeoff for edge beams (with a constant width).
I see that the only option is to use Area but would take to long.
What is the best way to achieve this please?
@ Steven, you can use the linear with width option under the linear function. It will also give you the option to offset or use from the center. I hope this helps.

Further to our Meeting You Measure Footings using the Linear with Width and you currently calculte the Perimeter for Edge Board using the Formula [Linear:m]*2+(([Width]*2)*[Section Count]) (as there is no built in option) using the centre line to achieve the correct calculation especially when there are multiple sections.
The Calculation even works at 45 degree Angles
This is a way to calculate it I understand you are looking for a "Linear/Perimeter for a Linear with a Width.
I will refer this to the developers for consideration. In the mean time please use the formula with the Linera being set to the centre line of the Footing>
