Is there a way to seperate takeoff and quantities into seperate units ie unit a, unit b, unit c in a unit development with all calculations still totalling to the main job. So for instance tile quantities broken down into each seperate unit but still giving a total for the whole job

Currently, there's no direct way to separate takeoff quantities by unit at the Takeoff Items level. However, we have a few workarounds:
Option 1 (Items Level): Use the "Usage" concept in Items to specify units (Unit A, Unit B, etc.). This breaks out quantities by usage while providing an overall total for each item.
Option 2 (Custom Properties): Set up custom properties for "Location" and enter unit designations (Unit A, Unit B) for each takeoff. This gives separate amounts per takeoff, though you won't see an overall total and cannot use Resume Takeoff.
Option 3 (Layers): Create separate layers for each unit and perform individual takeoffs on each layer.
Note that we don't currently have a master project concept for multi-unit developments with sub-projects that roll up to a master total.
We'll discuss this internally to explore potential solutions.
