Q & ALegend Scale
Hey Team,
Can someone please explain why the legend is never scaled correctly?
It was always the same in Planswift, it even behaves and looks the same
I just don't understand how a sophisticated program entirely designed around accurate scaling and measuring can't generate a text box that actually fits to the relative scale of the text within it.
Even when all the pages are scaled the same, the legend just does it's own thing, adding another seemingly unnecessary time consuming process.
Sorry for the rant, but its just one of those things that has driven me crazy for over a decade with Planswift and now it's been legacy patched into ZZ.
Surely we can do better!
Hi Thomas. This is on our list to fix. Currently our legend is positioned using 2 points (upper left / lower right). To fix this properly, we need to adjust so that moving the points doesn't actually position the points, but rather adjusts the font size per row behind the scenes, and then computes the point locations from the font size instead. So, it's a matter of us upgrading our point / node mapping system, which will take time to implement correctly. It is one of many things on our list, and it will get fixed.
