On the qty for spur brackets I need to multiply the qty from shelves and uprights so in this case the result would be 2

Is it possible to do this to reference an item property in the takeoff name? I tried [./Custom Property Name] but it didn't work.

try [../Property Name] ,but if it is the same property name you can also use [Property Name]
