Q & AGet text value from dropdown
When you have a dropdown with name and value is there a way to get the name into a formula?
I need the title of my takeoff to change to the selected value of the dropdown but I can only get the value

Click the gear and set it to "text with tags". Then put the areas you want to pull from in [brackets].

In kind of looking for both, Text for my item name and the value for my rate
My dropdown is set like below:
The dropdown will show the numbers, the callout of the dropdown [dropdownName] will call out the value.
the " is in front of it because if a pipe size is added, it would show 2". that's not from the dropdown.
I cannot see from the video as it moves a bit quick but have you also got the right hand column from your dropdown showing up in a field?
