Area Takeoff for Rebar Estimation

Quick question for zztakeoff users: I'm noticing it gives me about 10% more rebar quantity than Plan Swift for slab takeoffs.

In Plan Swift, I use the grid tool (X & Y lines) + a splice formula, so the weight is based on the actual layout. zztakeoff seems to just use a continuation factor/multiplier, which pads the numbers. I know it's fine for rough estimates, but for the sake of accuracy, does anyone know how to make zztakeoff calculate based on the actual grid rather than just a factor?

Would this work for you?

([Area:m2] / ([OC Spacing (X axis)] / 1000)) + ([Area:m2] / ([OC Spacing (Y axis)] / 1000)) * (if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==6,0.222,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==8,0.395,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==10,0.617,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==12,0.888,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==16,1.58,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==20,2.47,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==24,3.55,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==28,4.83,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==32,6.31,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==36,7.99,0)+if([500N-Bar Size Ø]==40,9.86,0))

If you want tonnes / the kg to 1000

I tried modifying it based on my variable set and it still gives me same quantity. I think it considers continuous lines that's why more quantity. Unlike plan Swift where the grid is created and then the formula is applied, zztakeoff does not have an option to create the grids.
