I built a free tool that turns your zzTakeoff export into an Ediphi import file. Drag, drop, download, import. That’s it.
What it does today: Imports single items and assemblies (single items pull measurement 1). Lets you pick which layers get imported. Handles updates too, so if a line already exists it refreshes the quantity instead of duplicating it.
There’s a 7 minute training video inside the tool. Watch it, play with it, break it. If you run zzTakeoff and Ediphi, it just works.
Want to make it yours? Download the source code, drop it into Copilot or Claude, and say “modify this HTML file” with whatever you want changed. You don’t need to be a coder. I’m not.
Coming soon: layer colors carried straight into Ediphi.
Two asks:
Link below. Go break it and tell me what happened.
Awesome! It's fun to see all the cool things you guys are doing to expand the zzTakeoff Platform. 🚀🚀
This is awesome Kyle! Thanks for all you're doing!!
Moving this to Claude Code to get a stable codebase and just got Git for version control. These tokens are intimidating!
