Turn off base layer on overlays

When overlaying pages I would like the ability to turn off the view of the original page so that I only see the overlay. Is this possible?

Hey Casey, thanks for the feature request! We are planning to add the ability to show/hide layers, so I think this will tie into this concept.

This has been discussed before as Takeoffs On Overlays Instead of Pages. Also, this is a basic feature of EWP Studio (iStruct) for designing floor systems and such. The model was never tied to a blueprint in any way, just as a takeoff shouldn't be tied to any particular set of plans...except in name only.

Now, if we use the current layers terminology for this, it might be called "Takeoffs On Layers Instead of Pages."
