If you start a new takeoff on a sheet that does not have scale set it will allow you to do that takeoff without warning and will not sum the total on the right column.
If you complete a takeoff on a sheet (A1.0) that has scale set, then continue a takeoff on a different sheet (A1.1) that does not have scale set, the new takeoff will not sum, nor will the sheet warn about scale not set.
Could you please make it mandatory, or add some type of visual indicator that scale must be set on the sheet before a takeoff can be performed? The issue is in the second scenario, you'd never know you did an additional takeoff on sheet A1.1 as it wouldn't add the sum to the running total.
Thanks for the feedback Eric. We'll get this fixed soon.
Here's what we're thinking. If you click area on a page that is not scaled, it can just show this warning. We experimented with auto popping up the scale dropdown, but it felt disconnected, so we started with this.
This looks great, thank you. Could you also outline/highlight/asterisk any takeoff on the right column that does not have scale set? Thanks Heber!
