I would like to request a new tool unless someone knows how to get this to work. I have created templates for the Hips and the Eave as you can see in the takeoff using the red and green lines. What I want is for these lines to be recognized as boundary lines ( like Construct Connect) and I want to be able to drag and drop my sloped roof area template item (you see highlighted on the right side) into the center of this area and autofill this area with my area measurement This typically shaves off about 10-15 minutes per takeoff. having to click each boundary point for an area is time consuming.

Hey Lani, thanks for the feature request! That would be a pretty cool addition. Do you have a short clip of how this works in OST that you could share?

This is actually on their software called ConstructConnect. It is from the same company that sells OST and Planswift. I made a quick video but I don't have it on youtube to attach do you have an email addy I can send it to? would be nice to be able to just drag and drop files into this message.
