Move a segment vertically or horizontally

Currently, if you want to move a segment within an area takeoff you have to move the 2 points to adjust the area. So what i am asking is the ability to click on the middle of a segment so that those 2 points move at the same time. Sort of like the functionality like in trimble sketchup.

I think this would be a very useful tool. Especially on Box mode items to be able to extend two or more points at a time.

I was just coming to check if something like this had been requested! I know you can shift-click and highlight the two points to do it, but being able to grab the middle of a segment to move it would be super helpful!
