Ben Honsvick Linking Drawings and Preview Window
It would be amazing to be able to link a detail reference to a drawing and display a preview. If you could leverage your AI to find the detail and display a preview that would be awesome. Manual connections would be good too, but AI connections would be better. Here is a mockup example of how it could work.
Actually, the mockup should have included a sheet reference too to verify that the detail is from the correct page. Something like this perhaps.
I'd like to second this! Manual is okay, but copy and pasting the detail on the sheet takes up room. Bluebeam does do some hyperlinking, but takes you to that sheet, not brings the sheet to you.
Thanks for the feedback 🙂 We'll add this to the list of features we will build. I can see how this would be a huge time saver not having to jump between pages so much. We do have access to the original PDF data also, and sometimes those have hyperlink data that we can extract to pre-populate some of these links to the details.
