Louis Brunelle Link with Velixo
One of the biggest issues with ZZ is not having an integrated estimating system. This might be solved by having ZZ speak to any Excel spreadsheet using Velixo. This would work with real time changes from ZZ's takeoff to the reporting system to the spreadsheet of choice. Might be something the ZZ gurus should consider?
Hi Louis! Glad to see you posting the community forum. API's are on the radar with our development team, but currently we have excel export reports, that line up with Sage, ProCode, BidBow, Contractor Foreman and Sharpesoft. Once the report is created it can be imported into those softwares.
Also, a bunch of our contractors are copying and pasting their estimates into Word doc's for proposals. If possible I would love to show you some of those reports but in the meantime I will look into Velixo, are you currently using that? If so I would love to see how it works.

No, I'm not working with Velixo myself at this time. But Stack is offering it as an alternative to their imbedded estimating feature. Here's a link address showing how Stack is integrating Velixo.

FWIW - One of the strengths of ZZ is also not having integrated estimating systems with a big focus on the QTO as primary...
Two things that haven't changed in my estimating experience is QTO & spreadsheets and I can rely on both of those w/o too much interference or yet another programmer boxing me in
I'm sure I'll get onboard with an estimating software someday...
