Order of variables is set to be sorted with the order they are created on the formula area. Sometimes we need to answer things first than the order of the variables. Let's have the option to choose as a setting and on an individual level.
Hey Edinsa, thanks for the feature request! One of our planned features is to allow you to rearrange the form on your templates/takeoffs, so this would probably tie into that.

@Edinsa, I have found that whatever the order of the items is in my custom properties, is how they display in the item properties. Give rearranging on the "backend" a whirl and see if that helps.
The other thing that has helped immensely is the ability to hide/display custom properties that pertain to each takeoff template. See this for further discussion there.
Hello Justin, I mean it like this. I would like to chose the order shown in the picture. But the variables listed are shown per the order of which one is written first in the formula. So I am asking Zz to give us a global setting and a local setting or anything that's better of what i am asking as a feature request update.
