Gray Folders - Allow for hidden State

Similar to the yellow folders, is it possible to add an option to hide/show all items within a gray folder at the same time?

Along the similar line, would it be possible to have the ability to custom sort the folders as well?

Is this in consideration? Seems like a logical one? The main reason I want this feature is to be able to sort by cost code/trade, turn on/off what I want to see on the page without having to create folders for every project.
