Is there a feature to "draw" a Dimension line using Ortho? I need to draw a dimension line at exactly 45 degrees.
Might be cool to be able to "choose/type/insert" what angle is need.
Hey Bryan! We only have ortho snapping for 90-degree increments with the mouse at the moment, but as a workaround in the meantime, if you know the dimension, you can use the corner number keys on your number pad (1, 3, 7, or 9) along with entering the distance to draw a line at exactly 45 degrees in your chosen diagonal direction.
Edit: Looks like we have ortho snapping for 45-degree increments with the mouse, but only for the last clicked point while drawing.
Ok, I will try that. Thank you.
Hi Bryan, we just deployed a patch to how ortho & snapping works. Previously, while drawing it was not showing the ortho indicator to the last clicked point (was only showing dotted line ortho indicator if you hovered over other points that you wanted to snap ortho to). It snaps to previous points now, so hopefully this will make it more clear when it's using ortho / snapping. Also, while drawing it currently allows ortho 45 degrees from the last clicked point.
Fantastic, thank you guys!
