Feature RequestsDefault formulas for properties
It would be great if we could have a default formulas for properties the same as we can have a default value.
As I develop my templates i am finding I need to add formulas to hundreds of properties and this would save a ton of time and save errors.

For which properties would you want to set a default formula? It would be helpful to list them out so we can understand what you are asking (not all properties support a formula).

Hi @Kevin, we do support adding custom properties and having a default Formula for the custom property, however the built in named properties don't currently support setting a default property. One option you have is to configure your takeoff like you want it, and then create a preset by clicking on the gear icon in the properties windows titlebar of the takeoff. This will allow clicking the arrow in the corner of the new takeoff buttons, and start a preset takeoff with all your details filled out (including formulas for Cost Each, Markup%, and custom properties ).
