Copy & Paste needs to be able to create new objects

I just discovered that the platform's new copy and paste functionality is missing the ability to generate brand new takeoff items from the copied objects. Currently, it only creates new sections under the original copied object. 

In other software, when pasting, a prompt comes up that asks the user if they want to create new items for the copied sections, or paste them as sections of the same takeoff items which they originated from. 

To illustrate, I just pasted a set of area items I took off from one floor to another. That worked fine. The problem is, I need to change the description of the area item on the new floor to indicate different size/dimensions, but when I do that, it's also changing the description of the item on the prior floor as well, which is no good.

Instead of having an intrusive prompt, maybe some + button added here to indicate that you'll create new items for the objects?

Or maybe a side arrow in the right click menu next to paste? Paste -> Paste to New, Paste to Existing, and you can set default behavior in settings somewhere? Could also go the Control+Shift+V route
