Yoder Construction Services Copy and Paste Notes
Thank you for getting some of these latest features out quickly. I would love to be able to copy notes I've created, and paste on other places on the page or onto different pages.
Thanks for the suggestion. We'll make sure to add this. Copy/paste is near the top of the list right now. We're just knocking out a few more speed updates on the graphics side, slopes for areas, wall heights, and then copy/paste will come right after. Dates are really hard to predict with development, but I would guess we have an update out later this week or sometime next week with this.
Thank you for your patience! Yes, I'm happy to confirm that with our latest update, the copy and paste functionality is now fully implemented. You can copy notes and other items using either:
- Keyboard shortcuts: CTRL + C to copy and CTRL + V to paste
- Right-click menu: Select the items and use the copy/paste options from the context menu
After pasting, you'll see a toolbar with additional options to help you position your notes:
For all other Takeoff Items and annotations you can. With Notes the following Transforms is only for The Box the Font remains in the original orientation
- Move
- Rotate Left
- Rotate Right
- Flip Horizontal
- Flip Vertical
These same options are also available in the right-click menu for further adjustments after pasting.
Additionally, you can use the new move handle to click and drag items (including notes) to reposition them on the page.
This works on both desktop and mobile/tablet devices.
