Can you add a way to darken or increase the contrast on a page?

Often plan pages are too light to work with easily - especially if they were scanned in.
In Planswift, to overcome this, I often add overlays using black (sometimes double or even triple) in order to make them darker and more readable. Is there any way that you could incorporate some way to darken or add contrast to a page in order to improve its readability?
