We want to provide the best takeoff + collaboration software in the world (for construction plans). This will eventually bridge into 3D when the time is right. We are striving to be very focused. We don't want to get diluted. We have some basic pricing stuff but that's not our goal. We are far more interested in integrations with the best estimating apps as well as Google Sheets + Excel. I'm constantly preaching to our team what you just said.

I think you already have the best 2d takeoff tool in the market and can't wait to see what else you come up with. Collaboration is outstanding. The only thing we really need there is for viewers to be able to hide/show what they see when they view.

Honestly, the pricing side isn't far off from being everything we need. You mention basic pricing stuff and that's all that's needed. I talk to my team about this all the time, keep it simple. What we do is extremely simple. All we do is +, -, x, /, but we do a lot of it. The most important part is organizing all of that math and your reports and the flexibility you provide can handle all of that. Add the sum features you recently mentioned. Get hidden custom properties to still work in the background while hidden and we're there on the pricing side.
