Gillian Wolpert Batch "Convert to" function
Hey ZZers,
would it be possible to have the "convert to" function available in the reports window? For the current beta, it would be amazing if the table at the bottom of the screen had that functionality so that you could select or group select multiple entries to convert to a different takeoff type.

Hey fellow ZZ Gillian, I just learned last week watching Derek, change multiple properties a time in the Test server, what he did was copy the property and then highlighted multiple cells with the shift button and then selected paste. I was able to change about forty markups in a few seconds. Let me know if this works for you in the Test server.

Hi Gillian, sorry just re-read your post, This does not work for Convert takeoff types. just in pricing and markups etc...

After you multi select for example 5 takeoffs, and Convert To, which would you wish for:
1. All 5 of the selected takeoffs convert to 1 new takeoff (or convert to 1 existing takeoff)
2. Each of the 5 selected takeoffs converts to it's own new takeoff (5 new takeoffs)
#2 please if I'm reading it that right, Heber. Should be a 1:1 conversion to any existing takeoff type. So:
Type X #1 --> Type Y #1
Type X #2 --> Type Y #2
Type X #3 --> Type Y #3
Type X #4 --> Type Y #4
Type X #5 --> Type Y #5
The same way it would if selecting the takeoff objects on the drawing to convert. There are just instances in the lighting world where it's much easier to deal with a table rather than pages and pages of drawings.
