Another tab for plan reviews

Under Review

Maybe it would be useful to add a tab next to takeoffs and templates for non-takeoff markups?

I have a few notes/highlights/callouts throughout the plan set. I understand why these items aren't in the takeoff tab. However, part of my workflow is to go back through these markups and add/delete them as I complete them. It would be useful to have them shown on the right so i can easily go back to these pages.

I understand I can hyperlink notes and bookmark things, but that is another step and isn't really as useful to me.

I like this idea - it would be nice to have a running notes tab for tracking purposes like RFIs and bid package scope management that is sortable that can be dropped into a scope sheet or rfi tracker that would be huge. Example:

note text - scope - location - page #

if someone already has a workflow for this using the reports tab would be great to see how you’re using it

So something like a template for prebuilt markups? Or just a place to keep track of markups?

I was thinking just somewhere that the markups can be clicked on and send me to that page (like takeoffs do).

In bluebeam ALL markups are shown in the markup list. That makes it easy to refer to my notes or callouts without having to flip through all of the pages.

Before, I had suggested that the markups live on the plan pages and that generally they would be managed via the Plans tab. Then you could see your notes/markups per page...without a huge list of takeoffs (that could be handled in the takeoffs sidebar/tab by grouping by page anyway). Also, there was discussion before about the possibility of columns within the sidebar tabs. I believe I had suggested a column for a "Reviewed" or "Completed" checkbox or something. This way, you could just check the box instead of deleting the markup/note.

I would think some kind of log that would compile all annotations, highlights, markups, etc and include a "+" sign to manually create notes/markups. The ability to utilize custom properties and create custom headers (maybe a few tiered). Sometimes, I like the ability to see notes that originated from a drawing sheets and sometimes I want to focus more on scope. The tie-in from spec's or other RFP documents to the QTO is important and usually has to be done on other software or spreadsheet/document.

What you are saying could be done on the pages sidebar/tab. Other RFP documents could also be uploaded and marked up for keeping track of where you are going and what you are doing during QTO.
