Ben Honsvick Additional Scale
I just received some Civil plans that have a 1" = 5' Scale. I can custom scale each drawing but it may be easier to add the scale as a feature request. Below is a screen shot of our "OLD" takeoff software's standard scales and a screen shot of ZZ takeoff's standard scales. Can you increase scale options?
Hi Ben. Thanks for the input. Yes, we're planning to add an additional "Custom Scale" option, and you can enter custom scales and page sizes. You could enter a custom value for the 1" and custom value for the 5' in your case.
This new popup would also allow us to also compensate for plans that have been exported at the incorrect size. For example, sometimes plans that should be "Arch D" got exported from the CAD app as 11" x 17" or similar so the scales get messed up. In the new popup they would be able to enter what the page size should be (from a dropdown) such as "Arch D", and it would auto-compensate.
