Additional Fields/Columns for Tracking
As our company transitions to zzTakeoff, it would be valuable to improve job tracking within the platform.
Currently, jobs can be sorted by status, which is useful. However adding a field that captures an indicative “total value” would significantly improve visibility. This does not need to be exact but an approximate value pulled from the take-off would be a good guide still.(e.g. small jobs ~$50k vs large jobs ~$2M).
Additionally, introducing a follow-up or reminder function would help maintain momentum across the pipeline. This could be:
- An automatic follow-up date generated from the job creation date (e.g. +2 weeks), or
- A selectable follow-up date during job setup
While zzTakeoff is not a CRM, having light tracking features like these would support better pipeline management and ensure timely follow-ups, especially as estimating activity becomes more centralised within the platform.
That whole "open project" screen is just asking for filters. The we could filter by estimator, status, due date, etc. That would be great.
