Any thoughts on bluebeam like functionality where the mouse snaps you back onto the line as you're doing your takeoff? Maybe extending it like CAD software where you can then tab up and select the entire section of the line and then fill it with the linear item? To do this the line imported from the PDF would need to be clickable.
example above quickly snaps an area - same idea. it recognizes lines and snaps to them
Cool idea 🙂 We have completed some backend work for extracting line and point data from the PDF. We haven't fully implemented the UI for it yet, but we will be able to use this data for snapping, and can hopefully add some of this functionality you are requesting. It's definitely possible. We'll keep going as fast as we can releasing constant updates 🚀 Thanks for the description and image example. It's very helpful.
That is great. I was thinking about it when doing a takeoff today, and I'm glad the other guy brought it up. Thank you!
One thing that I'm having an issue with is that the count circle is way too small. I know I brought it up before, but today, I was having difficulty seeing it because the count circle is way too small.
We'll get that fixed soon Rick so you can resize the point count. We'll keep releasing updates as fast as we can based on feedback from this community 🙂
No worries. I like to communicate on items that I see needing to be addressed, but I am not trying to hound you. So please do not take it that way. Thanks!
Thanks Rick! We look forward to continuing to improve to make this the best takeoff tool possible.
