Deleting Projects

In zzTakeoff, managing your projects efficiently is key to keeping your workspace organized. You can delete projects you no longer need. Here’s how each option works and when to use it:

Deleting Projects

Deleting a project permanently removes it and cannot be undone. Only use this option for projects you are certain you no longer need.

Important Considerations Before Deleting:

  • All takeoffs, documents, and associated data will be permanently lost.
  • Deleting a project cannot be reversed.

How to Delete a Project:

  1. Select Open project you then hover over. the project you want to delete.
  2. Select the three dots on the right side of the project name.
  3. Select Delete Project.
  4. Confirm your choice by selecting Confirm (depending on your interface).

Best Practices

  • Archive first, delete later: If you’re unsure whether you may need a project in the future, archiving is safer than deleting.
  • Regular maintenance: Periodically review your projects and archive or delete old ones to keep your workspace tidy.
