Surface pro pen issue

Hi, I’m still having issues with my Surface Pro 12 tablet, the pen is unusable, clicking all over the place. An iPad with Apple Pencil works fine, but on the Surface Pro I can only use my finger for takeoffs, which isn’t ideal. I’ve tried adjusting the pen settings but no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Key Troubleshooting Steps:

Enable touch events in Chrome: Go to chrome://flags and set "Enable touch events" to Enabled.
This can restore touch and pen functionality in Chrome.
Update Chrome and Windows: Ensure both Chrome and Windows are updated. Some issues were resolved after Chrome version 60.0.3112.78.
Restart critical services: Restart the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service via services.msc and set its startup type to Automatic.
Verify pen battery and pairing: A blinking red light indicates low battery. Check battery level in Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
Test in other browsers: If the pen works in Edge or Firefox but not Chrome, the issue is likely browser-specific.
